4282.0. "mcc T1.3 problem with severity levels when targetting" by BRSVMS::REMANS () Fri Dec 18 1992 04:20
I assign two targets and one notification request, so that e.g circuit up,
circuit down events correlate and make the proper icon change colors.
No problem in V1.2.3 .
circuit down,circuit fault --> minor
circuit up --> clear
When I force a circuit down, I get notified correctly. When I force the circuit
up event, I get a notification with the correct information but the severity is
not clear as specified in the target assignment, but it's minor.
Apparantly the second event, takes over the severity level of the first event.
This was proven by generating first a circuit up event and then the circuit down.
I have the same problem also on other entities.

4282.1 | Sounds like a bug | TOOK::MINTZ | Erik Mintz | Fri Dec 18 1992 07:26 | 5 |
| Sounds like something that needs a QAR (see note 7) if there isn't one
there already.

| I've encountered the same problem and it is now QAR 57. Please note I can't
even think about trying this field test in a production mode (when the field
test *really* starts) until this is fixed. This function is a must for us to
use the tool in the working environment.
best regards,
