Hello, I'm running DECmcc V1.2 on an ULTRIX DEcstation 5200 running 4.2a. I tried to register a terminal server as a NODE4 entity and got a partial registration message along with "Cannont Communicate with target". I tried to register it as a Station entity with the same results. I succesfully connected to the server from a VAX machine. I would appreciate it if anyone has any ideas on how I can sucessfully register terminal servers. /Dave

Not surprising, since terminal servers don't "speak" the Node4 NICE protocol... > I tried to register it as a Station entity with the same > results. I succesfully connected to the server from a VAX machine. Are you sure that the Terminal Server (Ethernet Station) is on the same LAN as the ULTRIX system? Does anything else successfully register as a Station from the ULTRIX system? What type of Terminal Server are we talking about? Chris |
