4194.0. "Changing GRAPH increments" by ONTIME::BUGSBY::COBB (Writing from ALPHA AXP) Fri Dec 04 1992 07:31

Is there anyway to change the increments on which GRAPH uses to plot?
If I have a bridge counter that has a value of say 18000 to start off
with. I would be interested in seeing a small change graphically
represented. If I bring graph up, the increments are in units of
2000. So there would have to be a significant change in that value
for me to see a grahic change. Can I change the increments in which
it plots?? Regardless of how big the value is to begin with, I want
to change the increments to say 5. This way if it goes up just a few
points, I see a change on the graph.

    Thanks for any help.

Why does graphing the counters show the counters in the first place?
Why doesn't it show the change in the counters.

Does anyone find the current functionality of graphing counters to be
    useful?
4194.2Thats why they call them StatisticsRACER::daveAhh, but fortunately, I have the key to escape reality.Fri Dec 18 1992 07:285
If you want to look at Statistics, then graph Statistics,
If you want to look at Counters, then graph Counters.

Yes, graphing counters is usefull, especially for counters that have
small values, like error counts.
