Can someone familiar with the VBAM AM please answer a couple of questions for me. Q. Does the VBAM for V 1.2 of DECmcc DIR which is currently in field test support ALL TransLAN bridges (TLII, TLIII, TL3xx)? Q. Is the level of support of V1.2 VBAM consistent with V1.1 VBAM? Specifically, are the parameters that can be "SET" vs "SHOWn" the same? Any enhancements to the list of parameters from V1.1, or are there any parameters that have been taken off of the V1.1 list? Q. Will VBAM V1.2 be DECmcc Dir V1.3 and beyond, or will customers be in the same situation with VBAM V1.2 and mcc Dir 1.3 that they were with VBAM V1.1 and mcc Dir 1.2? I have an immediate sale of a DECmcc turnkey system and consulting services hanging on the answers to these questions surrounding Vitalink's VBAM. So I need information ASAP. Thanks. Merlin

A: Same as for V1.1. I.e. no AM 'enhancements' & no 'defacements' ;^) >Q.
