    CROSS-POSTED IN MCC-TOOLS (NOTE 29-38)

Hai, 

	I am currently working at a major financial customer site.
	We are doing a prototype of DECmcc for their network.


	The site is multivendor network, 

		50  CISCOs
		30  VITALINKS
		30  DECLANBRIDGE/DEMSAs
		100 CHIPCOM MGT CARDS --- has sunnet mgr with NCS
		250 CHIPCOM BRIDGES
		150 SYNOPTICS BRIDGES ---> loading SYNOPTICS PM for mcc
		50  SYNOPTICS MGT CARDS
		XXX 3 COM BRIDGES
		35 T1s for the above WAN links.


	We brought in DECstation 5000/240 and VAXstation 4000/60
	with good enough memory  (96mb,32mb) 2 rz57s on each....

	It took me 2 weeks to instal both systems, Decstation Ultrix
	instalation also. Most of my time is lost in trying to get
	the license paks and distribution CD etc...

	I completed loading chipcom, synoptics, cisco mibs etc..
	I ran successfully autoconfig on decnet areas ( 15 of them)

	Now I need alarms....

	Sample alarms are good , but I need more, and more specific to each
	vendor...


	The next few notes I will open one for each vendor specific alarms
	Please post any alarms you have , as reply to the specific vendor
	note.

	 PLEASE POST ONLY TESTED AND WORKING ALARMS.
	

	
*ps : IT IS PREFERRED IF WE CAN SUPLLY IN A "CD" all alarms , that were 
developed by field, as unsupported kit, like we do on some ultrix software.
