Suppose I have a MCC system using a DNS namespace on node "A". I want to move the DNS namespace to node "B". Is this a great task? Is there any catch all's in doing this as far as MCC is concerned? Thanks

If what you mean is that you are going to keep the namespace, and simply move the server for that namespace to a different node, then I don't think there are any special considerations for DECmcc. However, a DNS server move is not a simple task, and trivial errors can require very time consuming recovery. I would suggest checking in a DNS notes conference. -- Erik |
