4160.0. "MCCBMS123 vrs ELM AM/FM V120 (mcc_pa_fm) ???" by ZTOIS1::VISTA (Renato VISTA, SIS Strasbourg, France) Fri Nov 27 1992 12:06
Hi,
I'm wanting to upgrade a DECmcc/ULTRIX platform with BMS V1.2.0 kit AND
ELM AM/FM V1.2.0 kit.
If I install DECmcc/ULTRIX BMS V1.2.3 directly (in upgrade mode), what
about ELM AM/FM, especially mcc_pa_fm corresponding image ?
Do I have to re-install ELM AM/FM kit (ie V12.0 (??), meaning that
mcc_pa_fm V123 is overwritten by old V120 mcc_pa_fm from ELM AM/FM kit ?)
Thank for your replies.
Renato

4160.1 | ELM adn then upgrade BMS | TOOK::OCONNOR | Dodge Vegga-matic there in the parking lot | Thu Dec 03 1992 11:19 | 8 |
| Hi,
I would suggest that you upgrade in the following order:
add ELM to 120 and then upgrade your 120 BMS to 123. This will give
you the best possible combination of software.
