Hi folks, a question for those who may have already done this. I have to monitor TERMINAL SERVER on many LANs, using one central DECmcc and one local DECmcc for each LAN: HOW CAN I SEE THE ALARMS FIRED ON THE LOCAL DIRECTORS ON THE CENTRAL ONE? IS IT POSSIBLE TO DO SO (USING THE COLLECTOR_AM PROBABLY)? Many thanks for any help Bye, Piero

Yes, this is th way to do it. However, if this is an extented lan (connecting through two bridges), you will be able to access the Terminals server directly. If this is a WAN, you'll have to use the Collector AM to advise the central one if something happen on any local lan. regards, Francois | |||||
