Hi, VS4000 - 60 with 40Mb memory VAX/VMS 5.5-2 DECmcc V1.2.3 ELM-AM/FM TERMINAL_SERVER PABX AIRCO SNA PTT (Path Trace Tool) I have serious performance problems with DECmcc. ( I know DECmcc is not too fast ;-) ) When MCC has to open a new window this takes approx. 20 seconds. So when I start up MCC and do a OPEN DOMAIN it takes 20 seconds until I get my OPEN DOMAIN window. The same when I select an entity (eg. a node4) and I give a 'show counters' command it takes 20 seconds to get the new 'show window' and after 2 seconds the information (counters) is put in the window. Before DECmcc was running fine on this system, but the last few weeks I have had this problems. MCC_AUDIT gives no errors. I did several times a AUTOGEN. I think it is a DECmcc problem because other window applicatoins have no performance problems. Please can anybody help me . Kindest regards, /-/ Henk.

Sorry I forgot to give this info: When I do a 'MON/SYS/INT=2' or a 'MON PROC/TOPCPU' I can see that when MCC is trying to open a new window there are two processes running both approx. 50 %. The processes are MCC and DECW$SERVER. Thanks in advance for any help. /-/ Henk. | |||||
