4134.0. "error opening SYS$SPECIFIC:[DECNET]MCC_EVL_SINK.COM" by GLFNUT::LICAUSE (Al Licause (338-5661)) Tue Nov 24 1992 10:34

Need some help on Phase V event logging and MCC.

I've set this up before w/o problems in a different location.

Now trying to get some Phase V routers to sink to a node in MKO.

The NCL script is pointing to the correct node and object:
 Sink Node =
 Sink End User = Number = 82
 Sink Address = {{{%X0113}, {DNA$ProtID$SessCtlV2 Name = MCC_EVL_SINK}, {DNA$Pro
tID$NSP}, {DNA$ProtID$RoutingV3 49::00-2D:AA-00-04-00-D7-B7:20}}}

The object is defined in NCP:

NCP>sho obj mcc_evc_sink char

Object Volatile Characteristics as of 24-NOV-1992 10:34:36

Object = MCC_EVC_SINK

Number                   = 0
Process id               = 2120024D

A DECnet non-prived account is setup in the EXEC and netserver.log files are
being generated by the routers attempts to send messages:

        --------------------------------------------------------

        Connect request received at 24-NOV-1992 10:30:48.00
            from remote process LKGDR1::"0=LES$EVENT"
            for object "MCC_EVL_SINK"

        --------------------------------------------------------

%DCL-E-OPENIN, error opening SYS$SPECIFIC:[DECNET]MCC_EVL_SINK.COM; as input
-RMS-E-FNF, file not found
  DECNET job terminated at 24-NOV-1992 10:30:48.27

What needs to be done to redirect the event to the proper software component?

With the exception of the default DECnet account, previous attempt to set
this up succeeded. The MCC processes have been started at boot time from
the system account.

Any help greatly appreciated.

    i think you want to enable the phase V sink on the DECmcc host node:

    mcc> enable mcc 0 dna5 sink

    The object information you are showing is for the Data Collector.

I tried that with no results....
