Hi, I've urgent request for DECMCC-EMS 2.2 SSB kit which have license PAK included. Can anyone gave a pointer as to the location on the network or send me a copy directly. Previously, the kit I accessed from PPINC::DUA0:[MCC_KITS.EMS_V22_SSB] required temporary license to be loaded. Thanks very much in advance. - LEH

Sorry, we don't make a kit with the PAK included. That would defeat the purpose of using licences. Why is needing a temporary PAK a problem? -- Erik

re. -1 This is because my customers' temporary EMS 2.2 licenses are expiring and their update service kits may not arrive in time. Thanks. - LEH
4117.3 | here is my real problem | ZPOVC::SINSPS | Thu Nov 19 1992 23:23 | 15
re. -1 Perhaps, I should elaborate my problem. My customers have DECMCC-EMS 2.1 installed. Sometimes ago, when the EMS 2.2 was released on the network, I did the upgrades for them using the temporary licenses provided. However, those licenses will expired before they would received their permanent licenses delivered together with their actual update service kits. Therefore, in order to prevent interruption of their usages of DECMCC products, I have to request an extension for their temporary licenses. Is there an extension of the EMS 2.2 license beyond 30-NOV-1992 ? Thanks. - LEH |
