I'm experiencing a problem installing DECmcc EMS V2.2.
While updating the dictionary, the process seems to be looping. The last
line displayed by the installation is:
Reading parse table file: dsa103:[install.mccems022]mcc_fdictionary.bpt;
After more than half an hour of the process looping, the file,
mcc_fdictionary.log, still contains 0 records.
Is this expected behavior, or am I missing something. The node it is being
installed on is a VAX 6460 running VMS V5.5 with 160.00 Mb of memory.
The only other thing I can add is that this is being installed on top of
DECmcc BMS V1.2 with the Polycenter System Census MI V1.0 also installed.
Since there aren't any further questions to be asked by the installation,
and I've got 5 other CPU's to spare, I'm going to leave it running over
night and check in you guys in the morning.....

| Well,
It seems I was a bit hasty in entering this note. The process has stopped
looping.
Maybe it would be a good idea to give somekind of an indication that the
process may appear to be looping when it is updating the dictionary. Just
sort of an FYI so that people don't panic (like myself)
