4108.1 | Check MCC_MAPS definition | QUIVER::HAROKOPUS | | Wed Nov 18 1992 14:56 | 12 |
|
For some reason the map file couldn't be created. Are you running
on VMS or ULTRIX? If VMS check the protections of the MCC_MAPS
directory. If ULTRIX make sure that the MCC_MAPS environment variable
is defined.
You don't need to worry about putting the bridges into the domain.
Autotopology will do that for you.

Bob

| Bob,
I have checked, there should be no problem, I am running it under the
SYSTEM account with all privileges enabled but I am checking logicals
etc.
I will try again in the morning as I am at home at the moment and don't
have a station.

4108.4 | Thanks Bob, you helped | RUTILE::AUNGIER | Ren Aungier, Site Telecoms Mgr, DTN 885-6601, @FYO | Fri Nov 20 1992 18:47 | 13 |
| Bob,
Your other reply gave me a hint about the logicals and once I sorted
that out, it worked.
I am getting quite fond of DECMCC, I hope the performance improves, it
is the only drawback.
How can I find out all the elements that are available, I tried
SHOW MCC 0 ALL

You can also see all of the children of MCC from DAP:
