Hi, My customer has asked whether the menus in the MCC IMPM can be made "sticky"? Regards, Dave Comfort

Sure! Just take a can of coke, shake it and spray it on your workstation screen. Voila! Sticky menus. Seriously, what the hell does "sticky menus" mean? /doug

If it's diet coke, I'll try it :-). Sticky menus, like in MS-Windows or in MOTIF. When you click on a menu selection on the menu bar (ie. FILE), the file menu comes up and stays up even after you release the mouse button. Then one just positions the pointer at the appropriate menu selection and click again. No more dragging the mouse while holding down the button. Dave

re -.1 Oh, OK. What you describe is default behavior for the V1.3 Iconic Map PM (it's Motif). Tell your customer we put it in JUST FOR THEM in the next release.... ;^) That should make them feel good! /doug |
