Has anyone heard of this problem? Vaxstation 4000/60 VMS 5.5-1 MCC 1.2 When doing a DECnet Autoconfigure it goes through all nodes then fails (crashes) with a floating point divide by zero in routine load_process_map (?) before completing. All data to that point is lost. I am not sure of the exact procedure, although I can find out. When I contacted Colorado they recommended making the customer's node a routing node. I did it and it failed consistently at that location. If we can't get around this, we lose the sale 8^(.... Any comments? Jack Boyle DTN 323-4448

Hi all: See Note: 3456.7 for the pointer of the patch ... NOTE: If it is for the customer, please contact Dave Hoag (TOOK::HOAG) for more information about using the patch formally - usually, patches are handled through the CSC. JoAnn |
