4013.1 | | TOOK::FONSECA | I heard it through the Grapevine... | Wed Nov 04 1992 13:35 | 8 |
| I've seen that error message in the past, and I can't remember
what the exact circumstances were which caused it. I would suggest
that you execute the DISABLE MCC 0 TERMSERVER_AM ABORT TRUE command
from FCL,then renable (ENABLE MCC 0 TERMSERVER_AM)
Let me know if your problem does not clear up.

4013.2 | communication with target interrupted... | BAGELS::SCHNEIDER | Rick Schneider DTN 226-5904 LKG1-1 /w2 pole b14 | Thu Dec 31 1992 08:49 | 12 |
| I'm having the same problem (Communication with the target has been
interrupted)...
I'm running DECmcc V1.2 with Termserver_AM V1.0.0 on a VMS V5.5 system
running DNS V2.0 and DECnet/OSI wave 2 - with patched CML.EXE...
I'm trying to register the first terminal server in the database when
the error occurs... I have connectivity to the terminal server...
Any Ideas?

4013.3 | connects from Phase V, but not MCC... | BAGELS::SCHNEIDER | Rick Schneider DTN 226-5904 LKG1-1 /w2 pole b14 | Thu Dec 31 1992 10:08 | 23 |
| I tried to connect via SET HOST /MOP client-name and the connection
worked! I then tried to reregister the terminal server (using just the
hardware address and type fields) WITHOUT success.
FYI, here's how I did the Phase V console connect...
$MC NCL
NCL> ENABLE MOP
NCL> SET NCL DEFAULT ENTITY NODE 0
NCL> CREATE MOP CLIENT ds200
NCL> SET MOP CLIENT ds200 CIRCUIT = sva-0 -
_NCL> ,ADDRESSES = {08-00-2B-25-C1-53} -
_NCL> ,PHASE IV HOST ADDRESS = 8.76
_NCL> ,PHASE IV CLIENT NAME = ds200
_NCL> ,PHASE IV CLIENT ADDRESS = 13.100
NCL> EXIT
$ SET HOST/MOP ds200
#login password
