What is a good size of the working set of the account MCC is running
out of?? I am using the DECwindows interface from a workstation. I
keep feeding the account more WSEXTENT and it uses it all every time.
It is currently 17000. A show sys indicated that it uses it all. Any
suggestions on account parameters for the best performance?? I used
MCC_AUDIT to tune sysgen parameters and there is lots of paging file
space. This is VMS 5.5-1 with MCC 1.2 SSB.
Any help is appreciated.

Depends on what you are doing. I would use 16,000 as a base, and then add 100 for each alarm rule and 10 for each notification you keep in the notification window. So, if you keep 500 notifications (the, in my opinion way to large default), and have 100 alarm rules, plan on 16000+5000+10000=31000 pages. | |||||
