I have run the AUTOCONFIG selecting the option to configure all PHASE IV nodes on the LAN and it was working fine, now it has gone into a hibernate state for the last 12 hours. What is the problem and is there no other solution but to kill the process. All those hours of work lost. Ren

could you take a look and see if any of the intermediary files have been created by the autoconfig. Since autoconfig puts the data it finds in files, you might have what you are looking for in there, so all may not be lost. As to killing the job, it does sound like the best way out. If the intermediary files are there I would be curious as to where it died (like attempting to start on the next area, or while talking to a particulary router; also I would like to know how you started it -- what your answers to the questions were). Don't get me wrong, I am NOT an autoconfig expert, but it looks like the next area of MCC that I will be delving into. jill |
