Anybody know what this error message means when trying to define a database in datatrieve.. DTR> define database mcc_export on DISK1:[LOWEG]mcc.rdb A DATATRIEVE DATABASE cannot be stored in a CDO directory. I have created a CDD$TOP.gary and $ DEFINE CDD$DEFAULT CDD$TOP.gary I also have the exporter background process running in batch and I have managed to export before.. Basically I am following the manual Performance Analyzer Function Module Use and Exhibit 7-2 on page 7-5 word for word and getting the above error message.. Any help welcome, plus if anybody knows which documentation is best for export historical data into an RDB I would appreciate a pointer. Gary Lowe NUK CSC..

Well, if you are following PA documentation exactly and it doesn't work, it would be appropriate to file a QAR to get the document fixed (see note 7). However, you may get a faster answer if you also inquire in a conference which deals with Datatrieve, since there are likely more experts there. I see a listing for IAMOK::DTRDIG, for example. |
