When I do a MCC> show bridge mybridge forwarding database dynamic entry - 08-00-2b-00-45-67 all char I get: Outbound Port = 2 Disposition = learned In regards to outbound port, what does this mean? Is port 2 where that address was last seen? Or is it the last port it was forwarded through? I want to know what side of the bridge that address came in on. Thanks for any help

Outbound port tells you which side of the bridge that this address resides. Packets destined for this address will be forwarded on port 2. Therefore, that address is on the port 2 side of the bridge. Bob |
