I am having a problem registering Xyplex terminal servers. The customer
is managing the units now with TSM and and would like to switch to
the TSAM. I ran a trace with a Sniffer and found that the Xyplex
never alows the TSAM to login after it sends the # promt. I compared
the the trace to a DS300 and there seems to by only slite timing
differance.
I sent the trace to Xyplex an they have not responed.
Regards
gary

TSAM does not fully support 3rd party terminal servers the way TSM did. Only through the MCC_TS_AM_PASTHRU utility documented in one of the apendices. Since there is a lot of interest in adding this capability, I would suggest you register your desires with Laurel BLUMON::Nelson, the product manager. If you want more details on this whole issue, it has already been covered in notes 1298, 2688, and 2887. -Dave | |||||
