Is anyone familiar with a recent Gardner report that ripped Digital's
management strategy vis-a-vis, DECmcc?

According to a customer who just happens to be evaluating our network
management proposal says that the report in not very complimentary to 
Digital and DECmcc.

Any information on this will be appreciated.

	That's interesting to hear. The report I read from the Gartner group a couple of months ago spoke favorably about DEC's middleware (software such as MCC) being "as strong as any in the industry and DEC continues to lead in network technology...". I have heard other favorable reports as well. I would be interested in seeing it. Of course, people are going to read what they want to read, regardless of what is written. -Matt.
