Hi,
I want to take an existing MCC environment, now on VMS, and
mirror it on an ULTRIX platform. I am using DNS as the repository
and have made a replica of the master clearinghouse on the ULTRIX
machine. I think I know how to move my maps but, how do I move or
make reference to the domains known on VMS? Is there a data file
which I can format into ULTRIX or is it not possible. For instance,
when a domain is created, an owner and a directory is supplied.
Where is that information kept on VMS and can I migrate it, with the
appropriate changes for owner and directory, to ULTRIX? If so, how.

| While not created for the purpose you describe, some of the tools
in the NOTED::MCC-TOOLS notes conference may help.
