The Management Module Programming document for V1.2 states, in section 11.6, that certain files should be installed in MCC_SYSTEM:[MCC]. On our system (MCC V1.2), MCC_SYSTEM is defined as : "MCC_SYSTEM" = "MCC_SPECIFIC" = "MCC_COMMON" MCC_SPECIFIC is defined as : "MCC_SPECIFIC" = "SYS$SPECIFIC:[MCC}" MCC_COMMON is defined as : "MCC_COMMON" = "SYS$COMMON:[MCC]" SYS$SPECIFIC:[MCC] has no files in it and SYS$COMMON:[MCC] has no subdirectory called .MCC. Hence it is not possible to work with MCC_SYSTEM:[MCC] Is the error in the MM Programming document or in the installation of mcc on our system? Thank you Ben

MCC_SYSTEM:[MCC] does not make sense, as MCC_SYSTEM is not intended to be used as a rooted directory logical. Assume the documentation meant MCC_SYSTEM:

Thanks for the help, Pete. Shouldn't someone change the documentation so that the customer doesn't get confused? Ben
