3905.0. "Collector thread dead" by CTHQ::WOODCOCK () Thu Oct 15 1992 12:02
Greetings,
My Collector_AM fell down and can't get up. Please note the error below, the
only thing 'wrong' with the event is that the TARGET was incorrect. Now I
can't restart the sink (note the second log) with a DISABLE/ENABLE sequence.
When this happened last night I tried most everything to get this sink running
again (including shutting down all processes and restart MCC) to no avail. The
system was rebooted this morning and that's hopefully not the only solution.
My main concern is just getting the sink running again so we are back in the
monitor business.
help,
brad...

| Did the reboot fix your immediate problem?
This obviously should not be the only solution. Please file a QAR (see note 7)
so that this gets fixed.
If the reboot did not get you going again, let me know, and we will try
to find a workarround.

This obviously should not be the only solution. Please file a QAR (see note 7)
so that this gets fixed.

| The MCC_EVC_SINK object got blown away, recreating it resolved the ENABLE
problem for the collection_am sink.
