Hi, is there a problem in recreating entity using ICONIC interface after deleting it ? My customer encountered this map window message :- "Entity !AD is not valid with verb !AD" on his BMS 1.2 field test version. However, he could successfully did it using FCL. Would this problem still exist in the SSB version 'cause I'm upgrading it soon. NB. He deleted the entity without deregistering it using ICONIC interface. Thanks, Eng Huat.

3853.1 | Are SHOW and REGISTER defined with display=true? | TOOK::FIGWER | Ulla Figwer LKG2-2/T2 x226-7858 | Mon Oct 12 1992 19:05 | 19 |
Hello, The Iconic Map works on the assumption that all global entities support the SHOW and REGISTER directives. Does the entity in question support these directives? Also, verify that the directives are defined with display=true. If they are defined with display=false information about the directives will not be loaded into the parse tables and the error "Entity !AD is not valid with verb !AD" will occur when the Iconic Map interface tries to use the directives to gather information about the entity. Regards, Ulla |
