    Over the last week my DECmcc 1.2 Ultrix station has experienced
    a number of failues with the Bridge AM.  The error message I receive
    on the Iconic Map is 'Error trying to receive a packet', while my
    main mcc process reports
    
    mojave.NY.JPMORGAN.COM> mcc                                    
    longjmp botch
    Exception: Illegal instruction (dce / thd)
    Detached process failure: Unknown error
    
    If I 'su' to root I don't see the problem.                 
    
    The bridge AM used to work..
    
    Any ideas where I should look?
