Hi,
following error message is returned after setting up a
recording for a decnet phase 4 entity:
mcc> RECORD NODE4 xxxx PARTITION COUNTERS ,-
_mcc> POLL PERIOD 1:0:0, KEEP AGE 40-0:0:0, IN DOMAIN xxx
Node4 xxxx
AT 23-SEPT-1992 15:45:23
The requested operation cannot be completed
Entity Existence Info = Entity Existence cannot be Determined
MCC Routine Error = %RMS-F-FNM, error in file name
We tried to deregister and register the entity, but the result is
the same. All other operations with this entity are ok.
The versions are DECmcc V1.2 and VMS V5.4-2.

| Rita,
I think that your problem is in domain directory.
To verify this, please, do "Show domain xxxx all char"
and check if returned domain directory exists.
