3798.0. "Can't DELETE DOMAIN and then CREATE it again" by CSC32::ORTIZ () Thu Sep 24 1992 11:32

    I have a specialist in Canada that received EMS 2.2 early. It has 
    MCC V1.2.1. I have MCC V1.2.0. He creates a DOMAIN within FCL using the
    following commands:
    
    MCC> CREATE DOMAIN .DOMAIN.ACL
    MCC> DELETE DOMAIN .DOMAIN.ACL
    MCC> CREATE DOMAIN .DOMAIN.ACL
    
    When does the second CREATE an error states that DOMAIN.ACL has already
    been created. If he does another DELETE DOMAIN it states that the
    domain has already been deleted. 
    
    Is this a new problem with MCC V1.2.1? Any help will be appreciated...

	Those commands work fine here on the EMS V1.2. I and another engineer have talked to the specialist. We have not identified a way to reproduce the problem. One thing that came up is: To replace the local MIR be sure and copy BOTH mcc_dns_ent.dat and mcc_dns_att.dat. By copying just one you will corrupt the database. This might have been the problem.
