10.5 (TransLAN 350, TransLAN 335)<- I have used SNMP AM for this, no prob.
6.11 (TransLAN III) <- I have NOT received a copy of this vers. yet
20.3 (TransLAN 320) <- I have NOT received a copy of this vers. yet

Last conversation I had w/Vitalink Engineering (last week) indicated that 6.11
was in the final stages of beta release. So, either release of 6.11 is
imminent, or "the check's in the mail" (as they say in the states...) ;^)

Thanks,

I know that the TransLAN 350 and 335 implement full MIB II. They also support
the MIB extensions defined in the MIB included on the DECmcc V1.2 kit.
As I said earlier: I have not received copies of the 320 or TL III software, so
I cannot comment on their SNMP capabilities. I would be *surprised* if they
could fit as full an SNMP implementation on the TransLAN III as they did for
the TransLAN 335/350, due to physical memory and processor constraints on the
III.

3748.5 | In case anyone was interested... | MCDOUG::MCPHERSON | pre-retinal integration | Tue Oct 13 1992 16:56 | 9 |
| I have just finished running some final regression testing of
Vitalink's SNMP Agent in beta releases of 10.5.1S, 11.2.5S, 20.3.1S and
6.11.1S against the DECmcc SNMP AM.
If you want to see how the SNMP agent performed and my comments on them
you can look at the log files, MIB, test scripts and the cover letter
to Vitalink in MCDOUG::DUA1:[PUBLIC.VITALINK.TEST].
