3720.0. "Why is this rule firing?" by VCSESU::WADE (Bill Wade, VAXc Systems & Support Eng) Thu Sep 10 1992 16:23

    If it was Friday afternoon I'd guess it was user error and go
    home. Why is this rule firing?

3720.3I would guess a problem with alarms or FCL's handling of 64-bit integersMCC1::DITMARSPeteFri Sep 11 1992 12:343
It's been a problem (addressed several different times) in the past.

Is this on ultrix?

3720.5MCC1::DITMARSPeteMon Sep 14 1992 14:554
I didn't mean it was something you should have known about.

I meant that FCL/alarms have both had problems with 64-bit integers
in the past (e.g. baselevels of V1.1/V1.2).
3720.6Fixed with new MCC_ALARMS_FM.EXE.VCSESU::WADEBill Wade, VAXc Systems & Support EngFri Oct 02 1992 12:336

    I was given a new MCC_ALARMS_FM.EXE image which I tested and it
    fixed the problem. But I'm not sure if a patch will be released or it
    will have to wait for 1.3.

The answer to this QAR indicates that the fix will be included in V1.3
