3675.0. "License check failed" by USTICA::ODOARDI () Wed Sep 02 1992 12:58

	Hello,

today entering in DECmcc for some proofs with Data Collector, after a
reboot of the system, I've received an error:

%SYSTEM-F-NOSUCHOBJ, network object is unknown at remote node


I've thought that DECmcc was not started at all, so I've tried to start
event sink for collector from MCC_DIRECTOR, but when I've entered in data 
collector icon for enable it, I've received another error:

	Map Window Message:  license check failed

and so are incoming my doubts.

1. If DECmcc Director license was terminated then I suppose that I couldn't
   enter in DECmcc

2. If DECmcc BMS license was terminated then I suppose that I couldn't use 
   alarms/notification/etc...

So I've done a check and I found that only TSAM license was terminated.
In fact If I try to make a show of a DECserver, or do some other command on 
this entity, I receive the same error message.


My problem is:

if a license is terminated I can't use the module, but I can entry in
DECmcc Director!


Someone can answer me because there is this problem?

My license is also terminated on ULTRIX as of today.  It last worked on
Wednesday, September 2.
Pleaes post a pointer to a new pak for DECmcc/ULTRIX
