Hello,
A partner is experiencing a major problem with Iconic Map :
Configuration :
ULTRIX V4.2A (Rev. 47) System #4: Wed Apr 22 09:44:09 GMT-1:00 1992
UWS V4.2A (Rev. 420)
He has now upgraded to MOTIF 1.1.3, and the problems remain the same.
o Version of DECmcc: BMS Version 1.2
o Date of iconic_map exe.:
ls -asl /usr/mcc/mmexe/*icon*

Problem description :
Any window ( even non DECmcc windows : DECterms, mail-window, etc... ) can
get overdrawn when appearing in foreground of the IMPM. Then when you move them
they stay with the graphic lines of the IMPM crossing them. I can fax you
the screen portions they faxed me, I could not reproduce the problem
on my configuration.
Even the IMPM pull down menus may get overdrawn.
A "map window message" may sometime appear : software error :

| I am also seeing this problem, it seems to have comeabout after the
system had the PX board replaced by a HX board.
It appears on DECstation 5000/200 and 240.

| I saw a qar was entered in the QAR system: MUSEUM.
This qar was answered that a graphic accelerator should be
installed. Nothing is mentioned in the Release Notes of
DECmcc V1.3. Can someone pls help me and tell me what should
be done for a DECstation 5000/125 with ULTRIX 4.2A and DECmcc
V1.3.
