    We plan to upgrade from DECmcc T1.2.7 to SSB V1.2.  We will also be
    using the VMS DMS kit, which uses threads BL9.  Is the version of
    threads in DECmcc V1.2 compatible with this?

	Use the MCC threads kit, it's BL10. DMS should work just fine. The CMA folks say they are 100% upward compatible. Basically, BL10 has some bugs fixed that MCC tripped over. *NOTE* if you upgrade your VMS system to a newer version, like VMS V5.5-2, be prepaired to get the CMA files out of the MCC kit by hand and replace them in SYS$LIBRARY:. VMS trashed the current CMA routines with older, buggy, code.
