Hi, I'm confused after reading the April Sales Update articles on DECmcc Modules and Packages for Both ULTRIX and VMS Systems and DECmss Extended LAN Manager. Appreciate if anyone can clarify the question on the new packaging: My customers have already purchased (half a year ago) and installed (two months ago) DECmcc Enterprise Management Station (EMS) V2.1. They have also purchased LPS and MDDS services. However, DECmcc BMS (v1.2), ELM (V1.2) and TSAM (V1.0) are required to manage their fibre optic bridges, concentrator. We've to use temporary PAKs inorder to have these new versions upgraded. Q. Is it true that DECmcc EMS V2.2 will still include all the components licenses as in V2.1, ie: - DECmcc BMS - NMCC/DECnet Monitor - DECelms - NMCC/VAX ETHERnim - TSAM (instead of the old TSM) The customer will not pay for such an upgrade when they just have the products installed two months ago.
