3559.0. "Notify twice or more times and insert double lines" by BLG03::ROSSI () Thu Aug 13 1992 11:00
Hello,
We have a problem with Notification Service of BMS 1.2 SSB.
We load notifitation requests includind (loading) that requests
from a command file created with option "SAVE AS..." in menu bar
of notification window. The loading is configured at startup time of
MCC.
MCC inserts a line in the notification requests window:
"Enable Domain main_domain_name"
This line, already contained in the command file, appears now two times
in the notification requests window.
This introduces a problem of twice notifications in the notification
window.
Using again the "SAVE AS..." feature to save the command file and
loading again We have, as result, the third line of the command
"Enable domain main_domain_name" is inserted. In this case all
notifications are displayed four times!!!!!!
Could anybody tell us something about this ?
Thank You Very Much
Giuseppe

One of the options under the CUSTOMIZE selection of the map window is
for notification to be automatically enabled when you open a domain.
I think this option is enabled by default. When this option is enabled,
you will always have the default notification request: NOTIFY DOMAIN x
So you do not need to save this notify request in your startup file.
You can also disable this option if you have a notification request
startup file specified.
