Hello, We have some problem with the version number of command file specified in "Alarm Fired Procedure" parameter defining a rule. Showing rule characteristics after creation, that file specification contains the version number. If the file version number changes in file modifications, the rule starts the older command file if not purged or returns "file not fuond" if purged. The only way to solve this problem is to maintain always the same file version number. Could We override the file version number in other ways? Many thanks Giuseppe

This is an intentional security feature. The alarms module checks to make sure that the procedure being fired is the same one that existed when the rule was defined, to help prevent trojan horse type intrusions. | |||||
