I have encountered a problem with the MoM I am currently developing. The environment is DECmcc V1.2.0 and DMS BL6. The MoM supports wildcard instance operations. A single reply is returned for each object instance via the moss_send_ get_reply routine. The more_replies field = 1 for all but the last instance, when more_replies = 0. MCC displays the information from the last reply twice. I have checked and re-checked the logic in my MoM. I have set breakpoints in moss_send_get_reply in the DMS shareable. I am convinced that it is not a flaw in the MoM. I have rerun the operation with "MCC_DNA5_AM_LOG" = "2B" on the director side and "DNA_DEBUG_PRINT" = "0" on the server node. Analysis of the log files indicates that the CAML thinks it has send N replies while the MCC AM thinks it has received N+1 replies. Someone is in error. Is this the expected behavior? Has any other developer encountered this? Any help is appreciated. Log files will be made available. -Paul Cross posted in DMS-IFT.

QAR #127 in database CAV010, "SHOW GIVES DUPLICATE LAST INSTANCE" Fixed in BL7 (We're currently shipping BL9 internally, and past code freeze on BL10, our EFT kit) I'd suggest moving to more recent code; if that isn't possible, we can look into getting you a BL6 fix. |
