Hi there, I've got a new install of 1.2 which was over 1.1 on a VMS 5.4-1 system. After installing I have noticed registration doesn't appear to work correctly for NODE4s. I can do a DIR NODE4 * and get info but when I register a NODE4 I am returned an error which indicates there is a DNS directory not found. As a test I DEREGISTERED the current MCC node which appeared to be a success. But trying to register this node again produces the same error even though it found it to delete! I have checked that the directories are present (dna_node, dna_nodesynonym, dna_backtranslation.%x37:31109190005245.%x000b) and all these directories were created with this account so full access is available. When looking into the dna_backtranslation.%x37311909190005245.%x000b directory I notice that the DEREGISTRATION did not delete the link associated with the MCC node. So it appears MCC isn't seeing the above named directory for either registration and deregistration for any node4s. Any quick ideas appreciated as I'm on a customer site, alias brad...

RE: .1 MCC_NODE_IDP translates to "37:3110910005245:" which matches the DNS dna_backtranslation subdirectory. Is this what you were asking? Thanks, Peter (for Brad, who wrote the base note...) | |||||
