3499.0. "%mcc-e-qwriterr from export" by SALISH::SAFRAN_RO () Tue Aug 04 1992 13:35

    I'm getting the following message from MCC_EXPORTER_BACKGROUND.LOG
    several hours after the batch job is started.

    $ IF (SVRT1 .AND. SVRT2) THEN GOTO OKAY
    $ OKAY:

    BMS 1.2.0 SSB

    I have tried to delete export (node4 snmp) * (line, cir, interface) *,
    which should be all instances of exporting and then delete the files
    sys$login:mcc_export.*.*

    I start the background job with:

    $ submit -

                    sys$manager:MCC_EXPORTER_BACKGROUND.COM

    The queue looks like:

Which version of VMS and DECmcc are you running?

3499.2VMS 5.5, DECmcc 1.2 (SSB)SALISH::SAFRAN_ROTue Aug 04 1992 18:425
    I am running VMS version 5.5 and DECmcc version 1.2 (SSB). They were
    imbedded in the problem statement of .0, I'll put them the very first
    next time.

3499.3Fixed, remnant files from previous version rememoved.SALISH::SAFRAN_ROThu Aug 06 1992 15:249
    Exporting has stayed up for a full day now. I deleted all exporting,
    renamed the mcc_export.* files, but this time I deleted the
    mcc_..."time_stamp"...mcc_exp* files that may have been remnants
    from V1.2.7.

    Hopefully, future releases won't require manual deletion of files.

    Regards,
    Bob
