3495.0. "Problem creating RDB file" by NMGWAN::SYSTEM () Tue Aug 04 1992 07:43
Last week I installed V1.2 and deleted the "old" .RDB and .SNP file.
(Everything worked fine with Ft. 1.2.7)
In note 2896.3 I saw that the message %MCC-E-ALERT-TERMREQ tells that
the exporter cannot create the .RDB file.
1. I defined a new .rdb name for mcc_export
2. Submitted the background process (with the new name). This keeps
on running until an export is started (also with the new name as
the target), then disappears. The log file ends as follows:

3. The background process does not run anymore, even when the export
is stopped and deleted. Everytime when the background process is
submitted it is executing for 1 minute and stops.
4. Every time when a new name is defined and submitted the background
process goes back to step 2.
I checked the quotas and everything seems to be allright.
What can be the reason of this??

Try to delete MCC_COMMON:MCC*.MCC_EXP*.* files.

| Sam,
I deleted all the old repository files and tried to export again.
The submitted background process keeps on executing until an export is
started. When an export is started it terminates and no .RDB file is
created.
