I have a problem with a couple of chipcom online concentrators where
UCX loop works yet DECmcc TEST fails. There also appears to be no
problem with using snmp access. attached is an example.
Decmcc version T1.2-7
chipcom hubs are version 2.1
Thanks for any help
John Murphy....

John, One possibility is that the ICMP ping is timing out. Can you try increasing the ICMP timeout value and running it again. MCC> SET MCC 0 TCPIP_AM ICMP TIMEOUT = 15 Rahul.

Would you belive on monday morning the DECmcc workstation crashed

There's no better way than crashing your system to make things work again. :-) On a more serious note, I believe that this could easily happen. If the UCX process was corrupted for some reason, stopping and restarting it would get rid of your problem. Rahul.
