    I use mccbmsT127 with local database and i want install SSB 1.20 
    
    will the installation delete the local database ????
    and in that case must I save these files ???

	In that case, I'm afraid that there is no way to preserve your data. The DECmcc MIR file format for ULTRIX changed between field test and SSB. You must delete the old MIRs (we usually clean out /var/mcc entirely), and the MIRs will be re-created by the installation. -- Erik

	How about an upgrade of a VMS 5.5 system from 1.2.7 to SSB 1.2? Will I be able to retain my MIR files? Thanks, Karen
