Folks, This may well be a simple matter, but not for myself: I have managed, via DECmcc Reports to produce an error-free -dtr- report and have produced an a .grm file. I originally had the error mentioned in 2315.0 and applied the DECgraph patch in 1576.1. I now believe I have good information to display in DECgraph. However, I don't understand HOW to display, or print the graph. The DECgraph notes file is no longer supported or viewable and the DECgraph utilities help notes have defeated me. Can anyone tell me how to get a display or print-out from DECgraph using the .grm file. regards Michael Hoare @hhl (London TCC)

Michael - To display the .GRM file, you need a VT240, VT241, VT34X and a VMS system, or a VMS workstation running DECwindows. You can simply type the file and it will clear the screen and display the graph. For hardcopy, you need to send it to an LN03 ( I believe since this is in sixel format, you need a "regular" ln03 (the original), not LN03R, not the PostScript version, but you could try the latter through the scriptprinter software). For other printers using postscript, see note 1749.* for additional information about preparing DECgraph output for regis and/or postscript. Dave |
