Development of the LAN Manager AM for OS/2 servers was killed when PCSG decided
to drop support of the API that it depended on. BTW: The API only supported
DECnet as a transport, so it *still* wouldn't have met your NETBEUI
requirement...
If they ever decide to resurrect the LANman API for either VMS or ULTRIX, I
suppose we could dust off the code we have and start where we left off, but
it's academic at this point.... |-( Until then, put a TCP/IP stack on your
OS/2 file servers and use SNMP and the LANman MIB extensions to manage
LANmanager Filesevers.

| Doug,
Thanks for the reply, is there any problem in putting Decnet on
the OS2 server instead of TCP/IP.??

I don't think so. It's certainly an option we (DEC) sell for our OS/2
servers....

Doug,
Thanks for confirmation, i realised we sell Pathworks for DOS, it was
whether or not there was any implementation problems with multiple
protocols on same server. I suppose we should get sale first and worry
later -)
