Hello,

I am trying to enable approximitly 55 notify requests
on an Ultrix DECstation 5000/200.  I'm using 1.2.7
and my problem is that I get the error

"notify request 49 for domain xxx encountered an error
    %  MCC-E-RECEIVEERROR, error trying to receive a packet

This error repeats for many of the notification requests.

(this particular time 52 of them!!) however it seems to be 
random each time.

Note: I am enabling all of these request from the iconic
map interface and am using a .com file that I had already 
defined.

Additionally, sometimes it will let me go back in and manually
enable each of the notifications after this problem occurs
however, when doing that I will sometimes get the message
"entity not in domain" and it won't let me enable it.  Typically
then disabling another notification will allow me to get
by this problem such that I can enable both the one I 
disabled and the new one.

Does anyone have any ideas what is wrong??

	You should probably try this again with newer code. Alarms/notification has had the most improvements during the late stages of development.
