Here is some of a piece of mail I got from DTC. Bentley is one of
their showcase customers - and nextdoor so they get a lot of attention,
but it's the kind of words MCC needs. Getting customers educated on
how to use MCC is part of the process.

We have been providing a customized consulting/training for DECmcc to
Bentley College. It is actually more consulting than training.
They have DECmcc V1.2 and they have practically no
expertise of the basics of using it.
We have scheduled a series of consulting days with them.
Bentley was initially very confused with the product and they were
asking us to recommend alternatives including other vendor's solutions.
After the 3 days of hands-on they turned around considerably,
became alot more positive, and they have signed up for
additional service. They even talk about using DECmcc in
some unique ways.
This is an example of a win-win situation where DTC, Digital, and
the customer are benefiting from the relationship.
( In the process, we also identified a couple of what may be
technical glitches that I will bring back to engineering).
Regards
Steven

I went back and set note 3265.1 hidden (my entry). In retrospective, what I wrote was a little irresponsible; In the future I'll sleep on it before making comments like that. I'm gratified that what DTC is delivering is helping Digital win/retain business; we should take it wherever we can get it. /doug | |||||
