| Dan,
Did you receive unknown error code 58 or
Extra information was returned for <> : code = 58.
If the second is true, it probably means the MS is incorrect because attribute
with code 58 was returned in outp and should not have been.
Hope this helps.

| Attribute #58 for bridge lines is Line Speed. There are no
restrictions on bridge type, so all bridge models should encode it.
I'll check it out.

3244.3 | Bridge problem resulted from bad transceiver | CUJO::HILL | Dan Hill-Net.Mgt.-Customer Resident | Wed Jul 29 1992 01:35 | 7 |
| Turns out the problem was the result of a bad transceiver (H4005) to
which one of the ports was connected. The bridge was accessible from
the good side.
It would have been nice if DECmcc could have found this.

3244.4 | H40005's aren't manageble. | YAZ8::GUARINO | | Fri Sep 04 1992 11:42 | 6 |
| Hi Dan,
Unfortunately, if the H4005 is bad, you usually can't talk to the
station hooked to it. Also, the H4005 is not manageble from software.
