Hi, Is there a way to "log" the actions which are done on attributes/Entities by directives (SET,DEREGISTER ...).? I mean : My customer would like to check all the modifications done and at the iconic_map Level and to log those modifications in a log_file . (not only for debug purpose) DECmcc Ultrix 1.2.7 is there an environment variable ? Is there a simple way to do that ? Best regards /Denis

well there is an mcc log bit that does something like this from the kernels view of things, but this log is in bits and bytes and not end-user syntax. Just what level of detail are they looking for?
3189.2 | Planned for next version of TeMIP | TAEC::FLAUW | Thu Jul 16 1992 05:18 | 16
re : -.0 Denis, The capability of logging operator commands is part of the functionalities that are currently planned for the next version of TeMIP. It is too early to give more details, but the general idea is to keep track, if required, of all directives entered by all the operators on a system from any PM. I think it should answer your requirement. Best regards, Marc. |
