If I just want to manage FDDI bridges at "prompt" level (no
workstation), does the following work?

Depends what you mean by "manage". What you will be missing is the added value function modules (e.g. for historical recording, notification, etc) | |||||

If all you want to do is set and shows from the command line then all you need is a director and the ELM AM package. The ELM FM package provides bridge spanning tree autotopology. Regards, Bob | |||||
